Since it's so close to Valentine's Day we drew candy kisses this week. I passed out several pieces of silver and gold wrapped candies to each student. We ate some right away.... no lessons in "delayed gratification" today. We talked about what it means to "study" something. I showed sketchbooks of famous artists and we talked about how they drew parts of something, put several incomplete sketches on one page, colored some drawings and not others and drew the item from different views. Everyone went to work studying kisses. Here are the results.
